Function/application description:
Beacon systems should and must often remain in operation even when vehicles are switched off and locked, even though the vehicle switches off the supply voltage as standard.
This means that the warning lights are either connected directly to the vehicle battery, which can weaken the vehicle battery during longer periods of inactivity.
The relay offered here is activated by the ignition plus and connects the battery directly to the consumer. After the selected time (up to 12 hours), the relay switches the beacon system off completely and de-energizes it after the ignition has been deactivated.
This ensures that the vehicle is parked safely.
Technical description:
Time relay with delay on release, supply via 15 and 87 coupled, relay center contact at +UB, positive triggered, 1 input. When the supply voltage is applied to terminal 15, the relay engages immediately. As soon as the voltage at terminal 15 is removed, the relay drops out after the set delay time has elapsed.
